Hi! I’m Njord, the designer behind Studio11.
Six months ago, this studio launched as a small passion project. Since then, it has grown faster than I ever expected, thanks to the trust, enthusiasm, and support from the aviation community around it.
Built on a clear idea
To create the first dedicated design studio for premium aviation artwork, graphic collectables, and storytelling — made by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts, and for the industry.
A place where aviation heritage, graphic design, and narrative-driven visuals come together to celebrate the icons that shaped the skies.
What started with high-quality art prints has now expanded into a broader collection of graphic items, including postcards, patches, and new premium products currently in development. And behind the scenes, the team is working every day to push Studio11 to the next level.
how it started
Studio11 grew from a fascination with the MD-11 and a desire to create aviation art that goes beyond the usual. I wanted the visuals to feel atmospheric and detailed, something that captures the emotion of flight, not just the silhouette of an aircraft.
But the unexpected part has been how quickly the studio has evolved.
In the first months alone, Studio11 gained collaborations, industry connections, and a dedicated following of collectors, pilots, and aviation lovers. That momentum is a big part of what drives the studio today.
Design with purpose
At Studio11, every artwork or graphic product starts with one goal: to capture what makes an aircraft truly iconic.
That can be the way a widebody pitches up after takeoff, the geometry of a classic tail design, a livery that defined an airline,or a specific moment in aviation history that deserves to be remembered.
I combine accurate details with clean, modern design, keeping the artwork believable for aviation professionals, but visually strong enough for collectors who want something premium on their wall or in their collection. Nothing is added “just because.” Every element serves the story: the angle, the lighting, the colors, the composition.It all has a purpose.
Studio11 is about aviation art that feels authentic, thoughtfully designed, and made for people who genuinely care about aviation, from pilots and engineers to long-time enthusiasts and collectors.
Beyond prints: expanding the collection
While the posters remain at the heart of the studio, Studio11 is growing into a broader design brand. Behind the scenes, we’re working on:
- Premium postcards that feel like small-format art
- PVC patches with a high-end finish
New products built with the same focus on quality and authenticity
Whatever we release, the rule stays the same: if it doesn’t meet our premium standard, it doesn’t make it into the collection.
Behind the scenes
Studio11 may be small, but it doesn’t operate alone.
A tight-knit team works behind the scenes on collaborations, design development, research, logistics, and product refinement. The goal is simple: to elevate every release and build a brand that consistently delivers quality.
The support and feedback from the community have been a huge part of shaping what Studio11 is becoming. Many ideas, references, and even future concepts come directly from conversations with collectors and aviation enthusiasts.
